Our princess, alpha female of our pack has died on September 8th, 2007. She had mamma cancer, which spread very quickly. We had to decide to let her go.

Van Leeuwen`s Nika is the daughter of Van Leeuwen`s Rocky  and Bella, the littermate of Von Christel`s Atos, the dog ofde  Rik Wolterbeek en Dianne San Lorenzo in the USA and mother of  Van Leeuwen's Spike en Benta.

Nika is born februari 22nd 1996,her shoulderheight is about 62 cm and weighs about 31 kg.

Nika earned the KNPV certificate PH-I with 439 punten out of 440 points and she earned only 2 months later the PHII certificate with 453 out of 455 points, both with honor.

In June 2001 Nika became region champion Noord-Holland and she and Dick competed in the Nationals PHII in Den Bosch.

Nika`s bloodline on fathers side, you can see on the page of Van Leeuwen`s Rocky. In the bloodline of her mother there are some very important KNPV bloodline, such as: Buddemeyer, Berkelaar en Aan de Boom. All are very worthy bloodlines in the KNPV. See also: her bloodline.

 Nika is very temperamentfull and driven in every excercise. This female really invented the worth "temperament", especially in her drive to guard.

She is a very hard and tough female, nothing less than any male.

Several young dogs out of Nika are doing very well in KNPV, Belgian Ring and as a PSD in the USA.

That Nika is a very strong and driven dog is proven by the fact that I (Selena)competed with her in the national lady contest Noord- Holland. Nika was 9 years old at that time, the result was 407 out of 420 points. She lost 2 points, I lost the other 11.
